Knowledge Mobilization for Agri-Food Supply Chain Decisions

The current world business environment is characterized by increasing uncertainties, complexities, and risks, which require agri-food supply chain (AFSC) managers to respond act quickly in a context full of instability unpredictability. Increasing pressure placed on AFSC intensifies the need combine knowledge management (KM) decision support that rapidly overcome boundaries. It has been recognized research issue related mobilization crossing boundaries needs be addressed. This paper investigates boundary-spanning mechanisms collecting data from experienced practitioners. Empirical results verify such as syntactic boundaries, semantic pragmatic could effectively tackled four specific mechanisms: boundary spanners, objects, practices, discourses.
